OVERVIEW

Sample a selection of distinctive wines at three vineyards in the fertile Annapolis Valley, a small but impressive wine-producing region near the Bay of Fundy with cooling summer breezes that allow the grapes to thrive. After touring the family-owned Grand Pre winery, you will enjoy a tasting that will reveal the unique qualities of the terroir. Many of its wines are crisp and light, including Tidal Bay, a blend of five grape varieties with notes of bright citrus. Similarly, the tides of the bay affect the grapes grown at Luckett Vineyards. Following an enlightening tour of the estate, you will settle in for another tasting of wine and cheese. You may be offered a red made entirely with Triomphe D’Alsace grapes and a Riesling with strong wildflower notes. You will also enjoy a tour and tasting at Gaspereau Vineyards, a winery acclaimed for its fruit-forward whites, earthy robust reds and wonderfully expressive rosés.
