Ride an electric mountain bike from tiny Seydisfjördur along the shores of its namesake fjord and on to a series of waterfalls tucked away in the surrounding mountains. Traveling by e-bike couldn’t be easier because its battery-powered motor makes pedaling a breeze, allowing you to go farther with less effort, even across challenging terrain. You will experience that firsthand as you follow a gravel road toward Vestdalseyri, an early settlement now in ruins. As you bicycle inland, you will come upon the Vestdalsfossar waterfalls, a collection of multi-tiered cascades in a magical setting. The waterfalls are fullest in the summer from the snowmelt that rushes off the mountains, so you can expect the views to be magnificent.
