OVERVIEW

Go on this special adventure that combines breathtaking scenic small boat cruise among grandiose mountains, waterfalls, and icebergs with good chances of watching whales up close; the fun of deep-sea fishing in the surrounding deep-water fjords and then enjoy the fresh catch for lunch at a restaurant in the heart of the wilderness. You will cruise the glassy-smooth waters of the Nuuk Fjord on the M/V Sterna, a 37-foot custom-built boat that carries just 12 passengers, which will ensure a personalized experience. The bait and tackle will be supplied so all you must do is concentrate on catching the large cod and redfish that are abundant in these waters. Captain Erik Palo Jacobsen and his first mate will offer fishing tips and at times bring the boat close to shore so you can taste the icy water from the cascades plummeting into the fjord. He will also chip ice off a glacier so you can cool your glass of whiskey. Later, the boat will pull into a remote restaurant where the chef will be waiting to prepare the fresh catch for your 3-course meal lunch.
