Norwegian's New Docuseries "EMBARK - The Series" Coming Soon!

One of the greatest perks that comes with cruising Norwegian is getting to experience top-notch entertainment at sea. If you’ve been at the edge of your seat these months waiting to witness some of the best theatrical performances around, Norwegian’s got your ticket.

Ready to break out of the mundane? Norwegian is staying true to its 53-year history of breaking boundaries with the announcement of the new docuseries, “EMBARK – The Series.” Enjoy a front row seat and watch as the docuseries kicks off with an "EMBARK NCL Spotlight Series" – two episodes dedicated to the iconic Broadway and West End caliber entertainment Norwegian is known for.

The first episode, streaming live at 9 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, invites viewers into London’s historic West End Garrick Theatre for a special reunion that brings “The Choir of Man” cast together for the first time in many months.

If you've yet to experience this incredible show on our ships, you'll want to tune in, pull up a pint, and tap your foot in time to the rhythm. The episode will include performances of guest favorites including "Save Tonight," "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)," "Hello" and "Some Nights" as well as an inside look at how the cast is managing through this historic time and how the talented performers are remaining optimistic about the future.

This is truly a show for our times. Praised for its high energy, live music and foot stomping choreography, “The Choir of Man” is an immersive pub experience featuring ordinary guys who perform everything from sing-along classics to classic rock. Traditionally set in a neighborhood pub, the show highlights the importance of community and human connection through a series of songs, poetry and intimate conversations.

In addition to its residency on Norwegian Escape y Norwegian Encore, Norwegian’s newest innovative ship, “The Choir of Man” has performed across the globe in iconic venues and cities including Chicago’s Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, San Diego’s Balboa Theatre, Washington D.C.’s prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and just this week, announced that it will return to the distinctive Sydney Opera House for the third time beginning February 2021. 

Produced and directed by Nic Doodson, one of the creative minds behind “The Choir of Man,” the first episode of the “EMBARK Spotlight Series” will stream live at www.ncl.com/embark on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at 9 p.m. EST.
