Keep an eye out for wild donkeys, colorful parrots and prehistoric-looking iguanas roaming freely in their natural habitat. Afterwards, your journey continues to the sun-kissed shores of Sorobon Beach, before heading back on-road along the south coast. En route, a photo stop will be made so you can see the old slave huts – a poignant reminder of the workers who once labored in the surrounding salt mines. Nearby, the brilliant white salt flat mounds create a striking landscape, and with a little luck, you may spot some of Bonaire’s iconic pink flamingos wading in the shallow flats. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the island’s centuries-old salt production before returning you to the pier. During your tour, a complimentary bottle of water will be offered.
