Your tour begins with a live narration by an expert guide, bringing the stories of ancient Hawaii to life as you follow the Ali’i Trail, once walked by the kings of the islands. Along the way, enjoy the freedom to hop on and off the tour bus at seven incredible stops, each showcasing Kona's stunning landscapes, and a diverse array of shopping experiences, from local markets to boutique treasures. Discounts are offered from various vendors when you show your wristband.

  • Stay as long as you wish at each attraction and hop on another bus when you are ready.
  • Explore places ranging from the gorgeous Kahalu’u Beach to historical Hulihe’e Palace.
  • Opt to stay on the bus as it follows a panoramic 7-mile route that takes about an hour.

• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing.
• Have cash available, since some vendors do not accept credit cards
• Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

Need to Know:

Note: Participants must weigh no more than 300 lbs. Walking on this tour is at the guests’ discretion during any stops they choose to get off the bus. On the first and second loop: 9:30am & 10:00 am, guests riding the entire loop without getting off may be asked to disembark upon return to Kailua Pier to accommodate ticketed guests scheduled for the 10:30 am and 11:00 am departures. They can board again the next available bus. There might be periods of overcrowding. Infants and children under 3 are considered "lap children" and are expected to sit on parent lap, otherwise must pay for additional seat (child rate).
