You will meet your guide, one of Canada's leading & award-winning photographers, and set out to capture the endless beauty of Prince Edward Island’s Capital. During your time together, your knowledgeable guide will share techniques with you, as well as tips and tricks on getting the most from your camera. Learn about composition, lighting and how to make better use of your DSLR or smart phone camera; as you explore Downtown Charlottetown for the perfect photo of historic buildings, street scenes, the picturesque harbor and of course, selfies! After a small break at a local eatery, you will leave this tour with a better understanding of, not only photography, but also the robust history of our charming City; and of course, captured memories to last a lifetime.


As you walk and ride through Charlottetown, you will pause at designated selfie stops that may include:
• All Souls’ Chapel, a designated National Historic Site of Canada.
• Fanningbank Government House, the 1834-built home of the island’s lieutenant governor.
• City hall, a Romanesque Revival-style landmark.
• Elegant 19th-century merchant residences such as Beaconsfield.

Note: Guests must bring their own camera, smartphone or equipment. Please ensure device batteries are charged. This tour is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or requiring mobility aids or assistance. This tour is fully on foot from the Seaport. There is no associated transportation. This tour involves long stretches of walking. Guests should be able to walk approximately 3.5 miles (with pauses to photograph and look at sites) and climb approximately 30 steps, collectively. Not all locations are accessible or have elevator access. This tour includes a stop at a local eatery. Any allergies must be provided 48 hrs. in advance. The legal drinking age on PEI is 19+. Guests must be of age to consume or be served alcohol. Non-alcoholic drinks are available. Guests should be prepared to provide photo ID and proof of age, if requested by the venues. This tour runs rain or shine. Please dress and prepare according to weather conditions. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The order in which locations are visited may vary and certain venues/locations/food offerings can be subject to change without notice for operational reasons.
