If you choose to explore the cove area, wear warm clothing, a raincoat and sturdy low-heeled shoes, as the wind often carries saltwater spray great distances. Walking is on flat paved surfaces, rock and gravel areas, beaten pathways, grassy areas, some inclines and numerous steps. Older building and lighthouse are not wheelchair accessible and can be very slippery. Guests with accessibility issues should travel with a companion able to assist with their needs.
